Prestashop is an exceptional solution for the implementation of an e-store. Is open-source,  looks more than great and does everything you’ll ever want or need to run your e-commerce website. it is, imho, a more than viable alternative to the famous  OSCommerce and is available for immediate download (2.0MB).

Prestashop has a great base interface. A good looking front office supported by a well organized and functionally complete back office that makes running an e-store something anyone can accomplish.

There are tons of website galleries, most of them are showing the same websites over and over again mainly from Europe. As a web designer, we would like to design something that really standout. By doing that, we need to widen our eyes by looking at different kind of design style by different kind of people, so that we can get infinity and variety of inspiration.

Oriental websites and European websites are so different, because the designers have different culture and experience. You should be very familiar with European design style by now. It is a good idea to get some inspiration from oriental style websites as well. Oriental Gallery features some beautiful oriental websites you have never seen.

NicoMarket is a strange website created by the European Union (or at least paid by) to boost anti-smoking campaigns that took Europe by storm last year (2007). There are many points of interest on the site but I must claim your attention to the  4 videos produced by Ligaris (France). The approach used is a way to overcome the increasing resistance of youngsters toward anti-smoking information. Each video promotes a fake product that I’m sure you’re (not) dying to buy.

The campaign was launched on October 29 (2007) and reports indicate that more than 1.5M Internet users saw the videos.

IM-History is a free service that allows you to save all your chat records and contact list in one place. This kind of service can be of great use specially if you’re the type of person that use several computers (home, work, travel, etc.) and sometimes need to consult your conversation records. As you may know, those times are normally associated with the wrong computer.

You need to install some client software so the service can work for you. The software is responsible for connecting and synchronize your favorite conversation platform (MSN, Skype, Pidgin, etc.) and your personal and private area on IM-History. Windows and Linux versions are available.

TechnoTarget have published an amazing list of RSS resources and alternatives. This long list is categorized trough several topics, f.y.i.: Windows, Mac OS X and Linux RSS feed readers, cross-platform feed readers, online directories, RSS to e-mail converters, feed validation services, feed managers and RSS feed mixers. I see a few good dozen reasons to visit TechnoTarget.

It’s just some Adobe Photoshop custom shapes created by this fine gentlemen. The archive contains, besides the obvious, some .html files that, I can only suppose, have something to do with the author’s Faith (this note is intended for those that may be a bit more sensitive than usual).
